What to put on an influencer rate card

  • Who you are: name, handle and your niche in a few words.
  • Proof: followers, engagement rate and average Reel views. Views often matter more to brands than followers.
  • Deliverables and prices: a Reel, a feed post, a carousel and Stories, each priced on its own.
  • A bundle: for example one Reel plus three Stories, priced a little below the sum, so brands have an easy “yes”.
  • Add-ons: usage rights and partnership ads as a percentage on top.
  • Terms: currency, whether tax is included, and how to reach you.

Suggested prices for 25,000 followers and a 2.5% engagement rate, from the same method the generator uses. A real card should reflect your niche and results.

How to price your deliverables

  • Start with a Reel. Later’s survey gives median Reel fees by tier: $100–$200 under 10K followers, $200–$1,000 at 10K–100K, $1,500–$5,000 at 100K–500K.
  • Price posts from the Reel. In Aspire’s survey, a static post came in at about 50–60% of the Reel rate, and a carousel 25–33% above a static post.
  • Keep Stories cheap and bundle them. Aspire calls Stories the most affordable deliverable, and many creators include them in a package.
  • Add usage rights on top. Later’s 2026 guide puts usage rights and partnership ads at 30–50% extra each.
  • Raise prices when demand proves it. If brands say yes immediately, you’re probably under-priced.

How to send your rate card to brands

Attach the PNG to a short pitch: who you are, why your audience fits the brand, one idea for the content, and your card. Put your best result in the email body, not just on the card. If you’d rather keep prices private, untick the price lines and send a media kit, then quote per campaign.

Brand deals pay for a post. To keep earning from it, ask people to comment a keyword and send them your affiliate link by DM; see how to monetize Instagram.

Frequently asked questions

What is an influencer rate card?

A one-page price list a creator sends to brands. It shows who you are, your audience numbers and what each deliverable costs, such as a Reel, a feed post or a set of Stories, plus add-ons like usage rights. It saves a round of emails and anchors the negotiation at your price.

What should an Instagram rate card include?

Your name and handle, your niche in a few words, followers, engagement rate and average Reel views, a price for each deliverable, a bundle, add-ons for usage rights and partnership ads, the currency, and how to contact you. Keep it to one page.

How do I know what to charge?

Start from survey data for your follower tier, then adjust for engagement, niche and demand. The generator suggests starting prices from Later’s and Aspire’s creator surveys. For the full breakdown, use the Instagram money calculator.

Should I put prices on my rate card or send them on request?

Both work. A priced card speeds up small deals and filters out brands that can’t pay. Some creators send a media kit without prices and quote per campaign, which leaves room for larger deals. You can untick any line to leave it off.

How much extra for usage rights?

Later’s 2026 pricing guide says creators typically add 30–50% to the base rate for usage rights, and the same for partnership ads (whitelisting), with longer periods costing more. The generator starts both at 30%; change them to suit you.

Is my rate card saved or shared?

No. It’s built in your browser and nothing is uploaded. Download the PNG or copy the text before you close the page.
