BuzzWire Launches a Free ManyChat Alternative for Instagram With No Contact Cap and No Monthly DM Cap
The bootstrapped tool answers Instagram comments, story replies and keyword DMs on Instagram’s official API. Its free plan is the full product, and paid plans start at $9.99 a month.
BANGALORE, India — 13 October 2026 — BuzzWire today launched a free Instagram DM automation tool for creators and small businesses. Its free plan has no contact cap and no monthly DM cap. When someone comments a keyword on a post or Reel, replies to a story, or sends a keyword in a DM, BuzzWire sends them the creator’s link in a private message. It runs on Instagram’s official Graph API.
The problem with paying per contact
“Comment GUIDE and I’ll send you the link” is one of the most common calls to action on Instagram. Most tools that automate it price by contact. ManyChat, the best-known, bills on active contacts: anyone who interacts with an account in a billing month.
ManyChat’s help centre lists its free plan at “up to 25 Active Contacts per month” and “up to 4 live automations at the same time.” Its Pro plan is $39 a month, or $29 a month billed yearly, for up to 2,500 active contacts. Each extra contact costs $0.05 on monthly billing.
That model suits steady business messaging. For a creator, it means the bill rises on the day a post takes off.

On ManyChat’s free plan, the coach passes the 25-contact limit early on. On its Pro plan, those 1,200 people count toward the 2,500-contact allowance for the month. On BuzzWire’s free plan, every commenter gets the plan by DM, and the coach’s bill stays at zero.

Built inside Instagram’s rules
